October 8, 2025 marks a watershed moment for Canadian sport. Canada Super 60 — the country’s first professional T10 cricket league — opens its inaugural season at BC Place in Vancouver, bringing together six city-based franchises, marquee international players, and tens of thousands of fans under the retractable roof of one of North America’s most iconic stadiums.

Six Franchises, One Stage
The six founding franchises — Brampton Blitz, Mississauga Masters, Montréal Royal Tigers, Vancouver Kings, Toronto Sixers, and Whiterock Warriors — have assembled rosters that blend proven international talent with Canadian-born players who have long deserved a national spotlight.
Each squad was built through a two-day draft process held in Toronto last month, with every franchise afforded equal bidding rights. The result is a competition that promises genuine parity and match-day drama in every fixture.

Ten overs per side. A powerplay that unlocks attacking intent from the first ball. A Super Over tie-breaker that can flip the entire narrative in six deliveries. A Sold-Out Opening Weekend
All three opening-weekend fixtures sold out within 72 hours of tickets going on sale — a testament to the appetite for elite cricket in Canada’s most diverse metropolitan region. Organisers have confirmed a second tranche of capacity seats will be released, and a fan zone in the surrounding plaza will accommodate thousands of additional supporters.
Gates open at 17:00 on match days. Live DJ performances, South Asian street food vendors, and the official Super 60 merchandise store will be running from opening bell. The first ball is scheduled for 19:00, with broadcast coverage starting thirty minutes prior across FanCode, LeagueX, and Cricket+.
